Sketch Meet Canberra Urban Sketchers
Last Sunday Canberra Urban Sketchers enjoyed a lovely morning at the monthly sketch meet. This time it was held at the Roy Morton Park near the Queanbeyan Arts Society centre. It was an ideal Canberra spring day sketching on the banks of the Queanbeyan River. It was warm but not burning you to a crisp, there was not much wind, and most importantly there were many sketchable viewpoints. Then after the throw down we had lunch. It was so much fun out with my sketch buddies.
If you are interested in Urban sketching, the Canberra Urban Sketchers group meet on the second Sunday of the month. Everyone at all skill levels using what ever medium you enjoy is welcome. We often have other informal meetings too so check out what is happening on the Canberra Urban Sketchers Facebook page
