One Week 100 People challenge 2025

This year Marc Taro Holmes and Liz Steel are hosting another One Week 100 People. This challenge on 3 March 2025. The aim is to sketch 100 people, from life, on TV, or from photo sources in any medium you choose. You can use pen and ink or pencil drawings, marker or watercolour what ever the media of your choice is, you are fine it is OK. The idea is to sketch then share on instagram using the hash tags #OneWeek100People and #OneWeek100People2025.

The sketches I have shared here are from previous years. They are literally 30 second to 2 minute sketches. I find this fast approach means that the challenge is not only doable but also I find it always loosens me up a little which is a good thing! I will crack open a small sketch book or perhaps one of the concertina books I made lately and contain the challenge in the sketchbook and after the challenge is done I will probably continue practicing sketching people.
